Teacher Interdicted For Eating Banana, Chicken for Visitors

It has been reported that a teacher at Lelmokwo Secondary School in Chesumel sub-county, Nandi County, stormed the principal’s office and consumed bananas and milk from the refrigerator inside. As a result, the teacher has been interdicted.

In the interdiction letter that was obtained by our team and copied to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), the teacher is also accused of storming the school kitchen and forcing the cook to serve him chicken that was intended for visitors. This accusation is included in the letter that was seen by our team.

A portion of the letter said, “You forcibly ejected Mr. Manasseh from the school Bursar’s office on March 13, 2023 at approximately 3:00 pm without any justifiable reason,” and it was written in all capital letters.

The instructor was instructed in the letter to make a defense statement or response to TSC in writing within 21 days of the date of the letter; specify to the nearest TSC sub-county office where the teacher is obliged to report once a month; and comply with any other directives that were included in the letter.

In addition to this, he is required to resign from his position and be absent from work, forgo the remainder of his yearly leave, reveal his address, email address, and phone number, as well as present any other evidence or documents that corroborate the claim.
