Among the establishments chosen and granted accreditation by TSC to provide instructors with professional development were;
- Mount Kenya University Kenyatta University
- Kenya Education Management Institute (KEMI) at Riara University
More institutions will be chosen to deliver the Professional Development course to teachers this year, according to the commission.
Following the petition filed in court against the program’s implementation, the court later gave the commission the green light to carry out the Program.
Career Development Guidelines
The Career Progression Guidelines (CPG) of the commission specify that only instructors who have completed the TPD program are eligible for advancements.
On September 22, 2021, TSC first introduced the curriculum with the introductory module.
After finishing their five TPD areas, some teachers have already received their certificates. The evenings and nights have seen these teachers devoted to their classes.
Under the heading of the beginning module, five main areas are covered. They consist of;

- Assessment of CBC, Pedagogy, and Inclusive Practices
