Teachers Service Commission TSC is constitutionally mandated by the government to register, hire, promote, discipline and pay teachers in both primary and secondary schools across the country. A total of 26,000 teachers made an application for transfers to their home counties.

However, as per to the reports from the reputable source this Category of teachers have been served with good news as the ministry of education via Dr Ezekiel Machogu has confirmed that these teachers will be transferred to their respective counties with an emphasis laid on the better replacement from their previous working stations.
