KCPE 2022 Results: How To Access Results Through SMS.
The Kenya National Examination Council has released the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results.
Education CS Machogu said all the candidates whose results has been released, will be admitted to Form 1, under the 100% transition policy
To access the KCPE results, send the candidate’s index number followed by the initials KCPE through SMS to 20076
KNEC Chief Executive Officer Dr. David Njengere noted that this KCPE is the second last in the series of examinations at the Primary level.
This comes as Kenya phases out the 8-4-4 system of education.
Over 1.2 million Grade 6 candidates who sat for the inaugural Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) will receive their reports by January 16, 2023.
“The head of state in keeping his promise directed that the Junior secondary school be domiciled in the existing Primary schools. This means that parents will now not lose sleep over finding places in secondary schools.” Said CS Machogu.
Nancy Macharia thanked the Gov’t for allowing the recruitment of 30,000 teachers in an exercise to conclude next month.
“I wish to urge all unemployed teachers to apply for these jobs. You have until Friday, December 23, for the applications to get to us.” Said the TSC boss.
Ezekiel Machogu said the ministry will double effort to motivate staff for them to deliver service to Kenyans in one spirit.
On The Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) the CS said the exam will not be used for placement of learners in Junior Secondary School
