The majority of students today prefer diploma courses over degree programs due to the brief duration of diploma courses, which allows students to avoid bad debts that may result from the accumulation of HELB loans.In addition, it affords them the chance to enter the labor market at an early age, allowing them to compete favorably.
Diploma courses are inexpensive, allowing businesses to maximize profits at a lower cost.In addition to preferring diploma-holders, employers favor them because, unlike university students, college students are restricted in their liberties.
Diploma programs have three semesters per academic year, allowing students to learn in greater detail and acquire more skills than degree programs, which have only two semesters and are followed by lengthy breaks.
Exams in diploma courses are based on the Knec, so lecturers are required to cover the entire curriculum, as the exams cover all of the required material, whereas exams in degree programs are determined by lecturers and only cover the material they have taught.
