Ezekiel Machogu, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, will open the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal today, on Wednesday, for 2022 KCSE applicants.

He will launch the Nairobi Innovation Week at the same occasion, which is scheduled to take place at the University of Nairobi’s (UoN) Taifa Hall.
After the launch, candidates for the 2022 KCSE can choose the universities and courses they want to enroll in using the university placement portal.
Students will be free to choose the administration of private universities, but only those at public institutions would receive funding, CS Machogu said in parliament on May 4.
“Any parent or student will make a choice of the university they want to go. They will also be able to compare fee structures of the universities,” he said.
