Kapsabet Boys Offer Scholarship And Trip To Australia For Best Mathematics Contest Champion
One of the top national schools in Kenya and a top choice for applicants looking to enter form one is Kapsabet High School in Nandi County.
On Sunday, May 14, however, after issuing a statement announcing its annual national mathematics competition, the school became the talk of the town.
Most Kenyans were interested in the awards, which included a Grace International Migration scholarship for the top Form Four student to study in Australia.

A second student would also receive a full scholarship to Strathmore University to pursue their chosen Diploma program. A full year’s worth of tuition would be awarded to the top student in each class from the Day school category.
The best mixed-boarding school, best boys’ school, best girls’ school, and best school overall would all get trophies.
To cap it all off, individual prizes would be given to the top students in each category of school, including boys’ schools, girls’ schools, mixed boarding schools, and day schools.
Oliver Toroitich, the head of the mathematics department, said that plans were being made for the top Form Four student to visit Australia in an interview with Educationnewsarena.co.ke.
The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 am on Saturday, May 20.
According to the statement, “the main goal of this is to create a platform for learners to demonstrate their prowess in the subject and boost their confidence in Mathematics.”
Every class must have a team of 10 people from each school, and the school may register as many teams as it likes. Each team must pay Ksh 2,500 to register.
One of the top ten schools that received more applications than they could handle was Kapsabet High School.
CS education According to Ezekiel Machogu, Kapsabet Boys received 99,542 applications compared to its 384 capacity.
