Government Scholarships For Kenyans With Stipends
The Slovak Republic has offered scholarship opportunities for Kenyans to study undergraduate degrees abroad.
The Ministry Of Education (MoE) announced these scholarships on 18th April 2023 for those who are interested.
The statement indicated that Kenya had received this deal from slovakian government fro those who are willing to study Abroad for the year 2023/2024.
Similarly, the Ministry indicated that those who will grab this opportunity, will not only benefit from the tuition fees but also house allowances and other allowances that will accord them a nice stay in the European country.
Kenyans are informed that those who wish to study, they can choose one program from the 25 courses which are offered under the scholarship.

Courses under this Scholarship
The programmes include Economics and management, Teaching, Agriculture, wood science and forestry among other programmes.
Other courses to be offered include;
- Public Health
- Nursing
- Mechanical and civil engineering
- Food science
- Transport and
- Computer science
Kenyans are also made aware that they will only be required to obtain an air ticket to the European country.
“The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation expenses and subsistence allowances for the whole duration of studies. The studies will be conducted in the Slovak language following the first year of intensive language preparation,” part of the notice read.
Requirements
- Mean grade of B (Plain)
- Age between 18-25
- Strong grades in the subjects required by the programme
- Must have completed school in the last three years
- Valid passport
- Birth certificate
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) with two teacher referees in your school.
How to apply
- Firstly, Download the application form from this website http://www.education.go.ke and fill it out. You can also pick the form from the Ministry Of Education offices.
- Secondly, Attach the filled form with certified copies of ID, Academic and professional certificates transcripts, birth certificate and other testimonials that are required to be attached
Lastly, You are advised to submit the physical forms by latest May 10, 2023.
