KUCCPS Opens Applications for 5 Open University Courses
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has initiated applications for five Open University programs. This application process, which commenced on September 15th, is open to all Kenyan citizens who have completed the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations or other equivalent courses.
Additionally, applicants are required to have achieved at least two principal passes in KCSE English and Mathematics, among other subjects.
To submit an application, individuals should visit the KUCCPS website, create an account, and proceed to upload their academic transcripts, KCSE certificate, and relevant supporting documents.

The five courses available through KUCCPS are as follows:Â
1. Bachelor of Technology Education – Priced at approximately Ksh115,000 per year.
2. Bachelor of Economics and Statistics – Costing Ksh105,000 annually.
3. Bachelor of Business and Entrepreneurship – Ksh105,000 per year.
4. Bachelor of Data Science – Ksh105,000 per year.
5. Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics – Ksh105,000 per year.
Successful applicants will be enrolled at the Open University of Kenya (OU), a distance learning institution offering a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These courses are taught by qualified lecturers, with learning materials delivered through various mediums, including print, audio, and video resources.
To apply for Open University Courses via KUCCPS, follow these steps:
1. Visit the KUCCPS website and create an account.
2. Log in to your account and click on the “Apply for Courses” section.
3. Choose the “Open University Courses” option.
4. Select your desired course.
5. Upload your academic transcripts, KCSE certificate, and other necessary documents.
6. Click the “Submit Application” button.
Requirements for applying to Open University Courses on KUCCPS include:
1. Being a Kenyan citizen.
2. Holding a minimum KCSE grade or having completed other relevant courses.
