Deal Done and Sealed: Midfield Maestro Set to Depart Manchester United After Five-Year Stay
Fred is signed by Fenerbahce after an agreement with Manchester United and Fred.
According to a tweet by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Turkish club Fenerbahce and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the transfer of midfielder Fred.
Medical examinations will take place prior to the player’s departure. Importantly, Fenerbahce and Fred have reached a comprehensive agreement on personal terms.
A few hours ago, Romano tweeted that the Turkish club had made a proposal worth approximately €15 million to recruit the Brazil international. It appears that this file proceeded swiftly after United received the money they desired for their asset.

Five years ago during the summer transfer window, Manchester United spent £52 million to acquire Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 30-year-old was a regular starter once Jose Mourinho departed and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over as manager in the midst of the 2018-19 season.
Once Erik ten Hag joined last summer, the midfielder’s playing time began to fluctuate more frequently. The arrival of Casemiro, his fellow countryman, did not assist matters.
If everything goes according to plan and Fred registers with Fenerbahce in the coming days, his time as a United player will be remembered with mixed emotions.

Manchester United and Fenerbahce have reached an agreement to sell Fred.
There is no doubt that every time he stepped onto the field, the player wanted to give his all for the team.
The issue was that his game had certain limitations. Once discovered while competing for an elite team, there is no going back.
One would assume that ten Hag was aware of this disadvantage and promptly reduced his playing time.
However, we wish the player well and hope he enjoys his time in Turkey.
