Why KMTC is yet to open September intake portal

There will be a longer wait for students who want to enrol in the Kenya Medical Training College to submit their applications.

This comes after the college disclosed that it had not yet begun accepting applications for the September 2023 intake.

The decision, according to KMTC CEO Kelly Oluoch, will increase efficiency in the institution’s admissions process, according to a notification posted on the college website.

“We have received and are putting into practise the helpful comments from stakeholders in order to increase the effectiveness of our admission process. In order to improve our ability to choose and place students, we have also worked with companies that share our values, Oluoch stated.

Please take note that the applications for the KMTC September 2023 intake have not yet been made available in this regard. The selection and placement procedure has not started as a result.

Wait until the college announces the launch of the application portal in the upcoming days, Oluoch advised prospective applicants.

The Ministry of Health established KMTC as a state corporation through a parliamentary act.

It has been given the responsibility of training several specialties in the health sector to advance the interests of Kenya, East Africa, and beyond.

The college has 72 campuses that are thoughtfully placed across the nation.

More than 85% of the middle-level local labour in Kenyan healthcare facilities is made up of college graduates.

The government’s initiatives to enhance the nation’s healthcare system include using KMTC as a centre of excellence for the training of health workers.
