TSC Score Sheet For Post Primary Vacancies Announced Today
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) stands as the preeminent employer within the country, overseeing a workforce of over four hundred thousand individuals within the education sector. Since its establishment, the TSC has consistently remained a significant employer in the nation.
Today, the TSC has made an announcement regarding the recruitment of post-primary teachers under permanent and pensionable terms. Eligible teachers are expected to complete their applications online. Additionally, the TSC will soon disclose the allocation of slots for each school.
Furthermore, the commission has already released a scoring guide for teachers in the upcoming recruitment process. According to this guide, graduate teachers holding First-class honors will receive five marks, those with Second-class honors will be granted three marks, and those with a pass will be awarded two marks.

For diploma-level teachers, distinctions will earn them five marks, credits will secure three marks, and passes will result in two marks.
Age will also be a pivotal factor in this employment initiative. Teachers aged 50 years and above will receive 25 marks, those aged 47-49 will attain 15 marks, individuals aged 44-46 will be credited with ten marks, and those aged 43 years and below will gain five marks.
Additionally, the year of graduation will hold significant weight in this recruitment process. Teachers who graduated in the year 2010 or earlier will be granted 70 marks, while those who graduated in 2023 will be provided with 5 marks.
Clearly, the year of graduation is set to play a crucial role in this upcoming recruitment process.
