TSC Salary Scale for Chief Principals ( T-Scale 15)

Chief of Principal(T-Scale) is a promotional position for administrators in post primary institutions. These are Heads of Institutions in National and Extra County Schools with over 1000 students.

The Chief Principal is responsible for the overall management and administration of the institution.

He/she is also a lead educator and is responsible for the operational management of the institution. This head is also responsible for the development and implementation of educational plans, policies and programs of the institution.

Appointment to Chief Principal T-Scale 15

For appointment to this position one must have:

  • Served as Senior Principal T-Scale 14 for a minimum period of three (3) years and be a holder of Masters Degree in a relevant area.
  • He/She must have satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal/contracting process.

Chief Principal T-Scale 15 Salary 2023

The lowest earner in this group will walk home with a salary of Sh131,380 while the highest earner in this group will earn Sh157,656 per month.
