Typically, the commuter allowance is integrated into the teacher’s overall remuneration package and disbursed alongside their regular salary, representing one of the remunerative allowances.
Recognizing that teachers may incur expenses related to public transportation, fuel, or other transportation-related costs, this allowance aims to address these financial burdens. It’s essential to bear in mind that the specifics and rates of the TSC commuter allowance may undergo changes over time, and educators should refer to official TSC guidelines and circulars for the most current information regarding this allowance.
