TSC Promotion: SNE Senior Teacher I, T-Scale 8 (C2-C3); Apply
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), as mandated by Article 237 (1) of the Constitution, is responsible for promoting high-quality education. In line with this duty, the Commission welcomes applications from qualified educators for the following positions, as per the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers:
Position: Senior Teacher I (SNE Primary School)
Scale: T-Scale 8
Total Posts: 346
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for this role, a teacher must meet the following conditions:
1. Have served previously as a Senior Teacher II T-Scale 7 for a minimum of three (3) years.
2. Possess a Diploma in Special Needs Education related to the specified specialty area.
3. Demonstrate the ability to effectively supervise, mentor, and provide professional support to fellow teachers.
4. Attain a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.
5. Meet the requirements outlined in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
6. Fulfill any additional criteria deemed necessary by the Commission.
Note: Applicants in Arid and Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) regions, as well as Hard-to-Staff counties, who have held their current grade for at least two years, are eligible for consideration.
