Article 237 (1) of the Constitution establishes the Teachers Service Commission as a Constitutional Commission.
Following the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers, the Commission invites eligible educators to apply for the positions indicated below.

Requirements for Selection

1. Teaching Experience: Applicants should have served as Secondary School Teacher II under T-Scale 7 for at least three (3) years. This tenure demonstrates your dedication to education and provides a solid groundwork for the role of a Secondary teacher.
2. Performance Assessment: Attaining a satisfactory rating in the performance evaluation process underscores your commitment and effectiveness as an educator. Your contribution to the growth and development of students holds significance, and a positive assessment underscores your proficiency in the field.
3. Additional Qualifications: The Commission values all-encompassing educators who can bring a diverse array of skills and attributes to the classroom. Any further requirements deemed essential by the Commission will be taken into account, enhancing the overall quality of education provided to students.
Special Consideration for Specific Regions: Candidates who have exhibited their commitment by serving in Asal (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) and Hard to Staff counties while retaining the current grade for a minimum of 2 years are eligible for this prospect.
