TSC Has Given Teachers Until Friday to Submit Promotion Applications
Due to severe technical issues that have prevented teachers from applying for promotions online, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has decided to extend the application deadline until September 15, 2023. Initially, the deadline was set for midnight on September 8, 2023.
Teachers have encountered significant difficulties in submitting their online applications due to persistent technical problems, despite the extended deadline and assurances from the TSC, which made this announcement on its social media platforms.
In August, the TSC advertised a total of 36,275 promotion opportunities for teachers across different positions, ranging from Chief Principal, Senior Principal, Principal, Deputy Principal, Senior Lecturer, Senior Master, Secondary Teacher, Head-Teacher, Deputy Head-Teacher, to Senior Teacher.
All applications are required to be submitted exclusively through the TSC portal at www.teachersonline.go.ke by the extended deadline, and manual applications will not be considered.
The TSC actively encourages individuals with disabilities to apply, and candidates who succeed in the interviews will be expected to present valid Chapter 6 documents prior to their appointment.
