TSC Fake Certificate Registration Links
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya has issued a strong warning to all teachers regarding fraudulent schemes related to fake links for teacher registration certificates. The TSC, responsible for overseeing teacher affairs and certification, has expressed concerns about the increasing number of deceptive online platforms claiming to provide official registration certificates.
The Commission has emphasized its exclusive role in issuing valid teacher registration certificates and advises against considering any other sources as trustworthy. This warning is a response to the troubling proliferation of websites that create unauthorized links, leading to teachers falling for deceptive online registration procedures.
Important Guidelines for Teachers’ Registration with TSC:
It’s crucial to note that the TSC no longer accepts paper applications, and the registration process is now entirely digital. Here are some key points that all applicants should be mindful of:
1. Complete All Sections:
When filling out the registration application, ensure that you complete all sections in full to prevent delays or rejection.
2. Provide Required Information:
Accuracy in providing all necessary information is essential for a successful registration process; double-check your details before submission.
3. Truthful Information:
Providing false information to the Teachers Service Commission is a serious offense, with potential fines of up to Ksh 100,000 or imprisonment for up to twelve (12) months, or both (Section 44 of TSC Act No. 20 of 2012).
