Officers are to fill out the leave form in DUPLICATE and submit it to the Secret Registry a month prior to the commencement of leave.
The leave allowance is payable only once every 12 months. Any leave carried forward in excess of half the entitlement days will be automatically forfeited, i.e., more than 15 days for 30.
Staff members who take Maternity Leave will still benefit from their Annual Leave days for that year.
Employees who fail to return to the office after attending the hospital or fail to report to work due to sickness must produce a medical certificate (sick off), or else the day will be deemed an absence and the same will be recovered from the salary. This has to be within 24 hours so as to qualify for sick leave.
Officers on STUDY LEAVE will not be entitled to Annual leave.
