TSC Advert For Head Teachers; How to Apply
Article 237 (1) of the Constitution establishes the Teachers Service Commission as a Constitutional Commission.
In line with the Career Progression Guidelines for Teachers, the Commission is calling for applications from suitably qualified teachers for the positions detailed below.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is pleased to announce job openings for the position of Head Teacher (Regular Primary School) under Advert No. 56/2023 (C4-C5). There are a total of 1049 available positions, presenting an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals aspiring to take on leadership roles in the education sector.
Requirements for Appointment:
To be eligible for this appointment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ service as Deputy Head Teacher II at TSC Scale 9.
Performance Rating: A track record of satisfactory performance as assessed in the performance appraisal process.
Leadership Abilities: A proven ability to effectively oversee, mentor, and provide professional guidance to fellow teachers.
Integrity and Ethics: Compliance with the integrity and ethical conduct requirements outlined in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Additional Requirements: Fulfillment of any other prerequisites deemed necessary by the Commission.
Special Consideration:
Candidates who have served in the current grade for a minimum of 2 years and are located in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands (ASAL) and Hard-to-Staff counties are eligible to apply.
