1.Click “Student Portal” at www.hef.co.ke, www.universitiesfund.go.ke, or www.helb.co.ke.
2. Confirm whether you have your National ID:
Before initiating the application, you’ll be prompted to confirm whether you possess a valid National ID. If you have one, proceed accordingly. If not, you will be required to provide your KCSE Index number, an alternative identifier.

6. Activate your account.

7. Log In
Once your account is activated, you can log in using the email address and password you provided during account creation.
8. Enter a valid Telephone number where a verification code will be sent. If the verification code expires, click the resend button to get a new verification code
9. Fill your profile and Update your Biodata

12. Add your Secondary and Primary schools’ details

14. Fill in your parents’ details
15. Submit your scholarship/loan request
16. Consent to the processing of your data.
17. Accept the loan terms and conditions.
18. Updated guarantor details.
19. Provide loan payment information as per the fields provided (Bank or mobile payment)
