How to apply for KUCCPS placement 2023/2024. The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has now opened the 2023/2024 placement portal for the eligible candidates.
The candidates are encouraged to submit their applications through the portal before the deadline.
How to Apply (Guidelines)
- Using your KCSE index number and the year you sat for KCSE, log in to the KUCCPS student’s portal. Use your birth certificate number or KCPE index number as your password.
- All programmes provided have minimum Requirements. Ypu will not be able to apply for a course you don’t meet the requirements. Remember selection will be done considering the overall performance and the capacity available in Universities.
- If you want to view the programmes available with their respective requirements, you can click on the programmes tab in the portal. Also using the institution tab, you can search the courses by institution.
- On the top right of your page, there is a course basket. So when you select your course programmes, they will be moved to the course basket. Therefore, when preparing for the course to apply, this will provide you with a shorter list to deal with.
- You will be required to enter the programme codes once you have settled on the programmes you wish to undertake.
- In order to submit your application, you need to use the application or revision tab the you will be promoted to a page where you will enter you programme codes.
- Confirm that the codes entered are for the programmes selected. Once you have confirmed, click submit. Follow the prompts on how to make your application fee payment instructions.
- For those students who are submitting their applications for the first time are charged Ksh. 1,500 and those who submitted their choices in school are charged Ksh. 1,000
- Pay your application fees after you have selected your preferred courses.
- Make sure that you keep your M-pesa transaction ID/Code safe as you may need it when making any subsequent changes to your application.
How to make payment for KUCCPS Application
- Firstly, Go to Lipa na Mpesa in your M-pesa menu.
- Secondly, Select the Pay Bill Option
- Enter the Business Number which is 820211
- Under the account number section, use your KCSE year followed by your KCSE index number without spacing.
- Lastly, You will now enter your M-pesa PIN and then click Send/OK.
