Thika resident in Kiambu County were served to a free cinema as they witnessed brawls flying all over between a father and his biological son.
According to sources, they have been seeing the same woman unknowingly with the son terming her as his girlfriend while his father considered her his ‘mpango wa kando‘.
The fighting incident happened on a fateful day when the son visited his then-girlfriend to spend his evening with her and as they were in the middle of their romance at early hours of the night it was interrupted by a knock on the door.
The woman then alerted his said boyfriend telling him that he had been seeing someone else on the side and the guy being on high alert and sensing danger quickly hid under the bed as the lady went to open the door to usher her guest who turned out to be the boy’s father.
After a moment the boy decided to escape without the knowledge of his father but unfortunately, as he was escaping he slipped thus triggering his father’s attention who realized he was his son. This angered the father assuming he had been messing up with his side check and started to beat his son who responded leading to a brutal fight between the two.
The lady seeing this screamed for help which gathered the neighbours’ attention who came to her aid and separated the two.
According to the neighbours who live close to the lady, they say they had seen the duo make frequent visits to her house and they had not felt any red flags raised.
The matter has though attracted the attention of council of elders in the area who will be relied on to give a way forward in solving the dispute between the two, son and dad in their involvement with one lady.
