Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe Refuse Glazers’ Remarkable New Demand

The latest update on the takeover of Manchester United will be distressing to read. Prepare yourself.

The fact that the Manchester United sale process has been a complete farce is not breaking news.

When the club announced invitations for’strategic investment’ last November, the Glazers were careful not to completely commit to a sale.

Fans are concerned that the Glazers will decide not to sell at all, squandering everyone’s time, if the process continues to be delayed.

Sheikh Jassim and Sir James Ratcliffe hold identical views.

There are two major suitors for Manchester United, each with a distinct offer structure. The Glazers have not yet made a commitment to either Sheikh Jassim or Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The bid submission deadline was scheduled for the end of April. Sheikh Jassim subsequently submitted two additional proposals, the most recent of which was categorically designated as the final offer.

Incredibly, The Mail claims that the Glazers have approached both bidders and asked them to increase their proposals. Each has retreated.

According to the report, attempts have been made to increase their final proposals. They have failed to achieve prosperity.”

Increased anxiety over Glazer’s choice

Now, both suitors are uncertain whether or not the Glazers will sell. The unwanted American proprietors want more than what is being offered, despite the fact that it exceeds the sports team’s market value.

The Mail reports that their asking price is closer to £6 billion, whereas the offers value United at closer to $5 billion.

Originally, it was anticipated that a decision would be reached by the middle of June. It no longer appears probable that a decision will be made by the time the season begins in one month.

Fans of Manchester United are justified in their outrage, and it is feared that one or both of the bidders could walk away.
