Setback for Man United as Recent Signing Faces Weeks on the Sidelines
Rasmus Hojlund was just unveiled by Manchester United when it was announced that he won’t be able to play for the club for a few weeks.
The Red Devils must have known during the 20-year-old’s medical examination that he would be promptly unavailable, as it took intense negotiations with the player’s former club, Atalanta, to acquire him.
According to a reputable journalist, Fabrizio Romano, this implies that Erik ten Hag will be without his primary striker for at least the next few weeks.

He’s not ready to play now — training as always but it will take “a few weeks” to reach match fitness. pic.twitter.com/0imVtrlMqN
This is hardly the ideal way to commence your Old Trafford career, but according to Romano, Hojlund can train but lacks match fitness.
It is unlikely that anyone in the stadium knew that it would be the last time they saw the athlete for a while when he was introduced to the Red Devils faithful on Saturday afternoon prior to United’s match against Lens.

When he finally gets to don the red shirt, everyone will hope that he can hit the ground sprinting and propel United to the top of the table.
Hojlund may need a few games to get up to speed, and United fans will need the virtue of patience in order to help him settle in, but if he can live up to his obvious potential, it will be well worth the wait to see the best version of the player.
