There is renewed hope for senior interns following a recent statement made by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). The TSC, entrusted with significant responsibilities in the Kenyan education sector by the constitution, plays a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of the teaching profession in the country.
This encompasses duties such as teacher registration, recruitment, promotion, rotation management, and the timely disbursement of salaries.
The leaders of TSC have been diligently working to secure additional funding to address the escalating shortage of teachers and to create more career advancement opportunities within the teaching field.
