Roberto Firmino’s agent discloses when he expects a decision on his future at Liverpool.
Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino’s representative has revealed that a decision on the Brazilian’s future is expected by the end of the month.
Firmino’s contract expires at the end of the season, and a number of clubs around Europe have been mentioned as potential suitors, with the 31-year-old now free to speak to foreign clubs about a free move in the summer.
Manager Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, has publicly stated his wish to keep Firmino.
Talks about a possible contract are still ongoing, and Firmino’s agent has admitted that he expects a definitive decision to be made soon.

“However, to reach an agreement with Liverpool, Roberto must have a say as well. We’re on the right path. We’ve had some extremely excellent discussions with Liverpool. It’s a fantastic club.”
Firmino has not played for Liverpool since suffering a calf injury in November, despite being in some of the greatest form of his Reds career.
Despite missing the last five matches, the Brazil international has seven goals in 13 Premier League appearances this season and is still joint top of Liverpool’s scoring rankings with Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool have brought in Dutch attacker Cody Gakpo since Firmino’s injury, who has been utilized in a central role to assist cope with injury issues – Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz are all sidelined as well.
