Nuru Okanga Sits For 2023 KCPE
Nuru Okanga, a dedicated supporter of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition, took the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams at Mumias Muslim Primary School in Kakamega County. His purpose in sitting for these exams was to acquire the necessary certificate for his future ambitions of running for the position of Member of County Assembly (MCA) in 2027.
He expressed his gratitude for being able to take the exams, explaining that he had been unable to complete Standard Eight earlier due to his father’s early passing. Now, he saw the opportunity to return to his studies and earn the required Standard Eight certificate, a prerequisite for MCA candidacy as per the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) guidelines.
Nuru Okanga, who received support from Roots Party Leader George Wajackoyah, thanked Wajackoyah for providing him with a qualified tutor to prepare for the national test. Although he set a modest goal of achieving 250 marks out of 500 in the national exams, he was determined to continue his education beyond this point to fulfill his political aspirations.
