1,900 Jobs Advertised At the PSC
The Public Service Commission has announced a total of 1,902 job vacancies in various state departments. Out of these vacancies, 1,701 are to be filled by the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration. The positions in this department are distributed as follows:
– Government Chemist: 1 position
– Clerical Officer II: 900 vacancies
– Senior Support Staff: 800 vacancies
Additionally, there is 1 vacancy for the position of Assistant Director, Gender in the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action.
The Public Service Commission has also advertised 1 position for the post of Director of Roads and Rail Transport Services in the State Department for Transport.
Furthermore, there are 58 vacancies for the post of Land Valuer in the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning.
Other positions to be filled include:
– Director of Internal Trade in the State Department for Trade: 1 vacancy
– Director of Regional Development in the State Department for Asals and Regional Development: 1 vacancy
In the State Department for Tourism, there are 5 vacancies in various capacities:
– Assistant Director, Tourism Research, Policy, and Innovation: 2 vacancies
– Assistant Director, Tourism Development and Promotion: 2 vacancies
– Assistant Director, Tourism Investment and Finance: 1 vacancy

In the State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs, there are 100 vacancies for Children’s Officer II and Social Development Officer III.

Similarly, the State Department for Diaspora Affairs has 26 vacancies in various posts, including Director, Foreign Service, Assistant Director Foreign Service, and Deputy Director Foreign Service.
The State Department of Shipping and Maritime has 8 vacancies for the post of Shipping and Maritime Officer I.
