PSC Announces 481 Senior Administrative Posts Across Ministries
The government has advertised 481 job openings for senior administrative roles across a variety of ministries and state departments, and these openings were announced through the Public Service Commission (PSC).
The Commission revealed its intention, in a statement that was made public on August 15th, to focus primarily on hiring directors and assistant directors for positions in a variety of state offices.
According to the advertisement, the Ministry of Internal Security and National Administration has 56 open positions, the Ministry of Treasury and Planning has two open positions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has 25 open positions, the State Department of Transport has six open positions, the State Department of Public Works has 18 open positions, and the State Department of Housing and Urban Development has 16 open positions.
In addition, there are 117 positions available in the State Department for Broadcasting and Telecommunications, 99 positions available in the State Department for Crop Development, 91 positions available in the State Department for Livestock Development, three positions available in the State Department for Industry, forty positions available in the State Department for Culture and Heritage, eight positions available in the State Department for ASALs (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) and Regional Development, and three positions available in the State Department for Industry.

481 senior administrative positions are available across the various ministries.
According to the statement made by the CEO of the Commission, “Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission’s website or through the jobs portal.”
The Commission mentioned that Kenyans who meet the requirements and are interested in applying for a position have until the latest of September 5, 2023 at 5 pm to do so.
