Primary Teacher Sodomize Minor
A primary school teacher from Mombasa has been taken into custody after allegedly assaulting a minor boy from a well-known academy in the town during the morning hours.
According to police reports, the suspect, identified as Collins Akiro Okeyo, was confronted by a neighbor who claims to have witnessed the incident. The neighbor saw the suspect luring the minor into a secluded area and attempting to abuse him before raising the alarm.
The teacher, whose name has not been disclosed publicly, has been arrested and is currently in police custody, awaiting court arraignment for his alleged crimes.
The Mombasa county police commissioner has confirmed the incident, stating that officials from the Ministry of Education have requested the closure of the school for an extended period to gather sufficient evidence, given the sensitivity of the case. It’s worth noting that the victim is a sibling from the same family, and the suspect is a teacher from a neighboring school.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the suspect and the boy entering a lodge during the morning hours, which raised suspicions. They immediately reported the matter to the sub-location assistant chief, leading to the arrest of the suspect and the victim. Several used condoms and two unused ones were discovered under the mattress, which will be used as evidence.
The victim’s parents have corroborated the incident, stating that they received a tip-off from a boda boda rider who saw the suspect entering the lodge with the minor. The case has stirred strong emotions in the town and its surroundings, particularly because the accused person founded the “Rite of Boy Child” initiative within the area’s Evangelical Churches in Bomet Changamwe, where he is known to mentor over 150 young boys each December during the post-circumcision healing process.
