The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced that all teachers will get the Covid-19 vaccine adding that 92,246 teachers have so far taken Covid-19 jab.
“The President has allowed us to ensure all teachers take COVID- 19 vaccine irrespective of their age.” Macharia said.
She regretted that the lives of 15 teachers in the primary subsection, 3 deputy headteachers, and 8 headteachers were lost by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The PS for Early Learning and Basic Education Dr. Julius Jwan noted that exam examiners will travel back home safely following arrangements made by the ministry.
“Arrangements have been made to ensure that all teachers who will be coming to mark the exams, travel safely to the marking site. Said Dr. Julius Jwan.
