Nyambaria Highschool Principal Suspended As A Centre Manager

The Principal of Nyambaria Boys’ High School in Nyamira county, Mr. Charles Onyari, has purportedly faced suspension from his role as the Centre Manager for the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations. According to Abuga Makori, Mr. Onyari was taken to Nyamira police station, where he provided a statement concerning this situation.

Insiders have disclosed that a security officer responsible for overseeing the examinations at this prestigious institution discovered a material inside the examination room, which was believed to be a leakage. This discovery prompted an immediate alarm, leading to the intervention of officials from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).

Nonetheless, there are allegations circulating that students from this institution, which was among the top-performing schools nationwide in last year’s national exams, claim that the officers deliberately placed prohibited materials in the classrooms to implicate the school in allegations of examination malpractice.

Investigations into this matter are currently in progress. Additionally, there are reports suggesting that KNEC officials have also suspended the principals of Gekano and Gekomoni over similar accusations.
