Now, Chelsea has decided to sell the £325,000-per-week player for £38.5 million
Inter Milan and Juventus are reportedly interested in acquiring Romelu Lukaku, and Chelsea is reportedly willing to sell.
Today, The Athletic reported that Chelsea is prepared to sell striker Romelu Lukaku during the summer transfer window.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League champions are seeking a transfer fee of €45 million (£38.5 million) for Lukaku.
Juventus, Inter Milan, and Al Hilal are all interested in signing the former Manchester United and Everton striker.
Inter have made an offer for Lukaku, but Chelsea have rejected it as “not even close” to what they want for him.
According to The Athletic, Lukaku “is still holding out for a return to Inter.”
Prior to joining Chelsea, the 30-year-old forward was under contract with Inter from 2019 to 2021.

Last season, the Belgian sensation was on loan from Chelsea to Inter.
How should Chelsea approach Romelu Lukaku?
Chelsea should not sell Romelu Lukaku until they receive the €45 million (£38.5 million) transfer fee they are seeking for the £325,000-per-week (London Evening Standard) striker.
Yes, the striker wants to move to Inter, but that does not mean that Chelsea should simply let him go.
The Belgian is, after all, under contract with the Blues.
Chelsea paid Inter £97,5 million for Lukaku in 2021 (The Athletic), and they’re already willing to take a massive loss on the striker.
The Blues are incapable of selling Lukaku for less than £38.5 million.
