Neville estimates Manchester United’s title hopes after Arsenal and Manchester City both lose.
Gary Neville maintains that it is not “crazy” to suggest that Manchester United “might win” the Premier League after Arsenal and Manchester City both suffered defeats over the weekend.
Pep Guardiola’s side fell to Tottenham 1-0 the next day, allowing Manchester United to reduce the gap on second-placed City by three points.
And Manchester United also gained three points on Premier League leaders Arsenal, who lost to Everton in Sean Dyche’s first match in charge of the Toffees, and now trail the Gunners by eight points.
Under Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s players have demonstrated a great deal of consistency, reversing the team’s fortunes at Old Trafford.
Neville currently believes that Manchester United are “in a terrific position” to win the Premier League, but that they will “fall short” at the conclusion of the season.

“Do we have a chance once more?” Neville stated in his podcast for Sky Sports. “I don’t believe Manchester United will make it; I believe they will fall short.
“They’re not quite there yet, and Christian Eriksen’s injury will hurt, but they’re doing exceptionally well and are back in contention.”
“They appear to be happy as well, and that’s a huge deal. You require that. From this perspective, United is performing nicely.
“It is not absurd to believe they could win the championship. I don’t believe they will, and I’ve never believed they would this season because it’s too early, but if I were Manchester City, I would be concerned.
“With the way they’re playing and the way Pep Guardiola is fiddling with the lineup, the fans will begin to worry. United appears to be a cheerful group, whereas City appears to be in a funk and needs to get out of it.
Man City might still win the league with relative ease, but Man United are still in a strong position.
Casemiro was sent off after grabbing Will Hughes by the throat, forcing Man United to play 20 minutes against Crystal Palace with 10 men.
And Red Devils goalkeeper David de Gea acknowledges that the Brazilian will be a significant absence for the next three matches, following the loss of Christian Eriksen for several months due to injury.
De Gea stated emphatically, “It will be difficult.” “We’ve already lost Christian Eriksen to injury, and now Case, so we’ve lost two significant players.”
“However, we have a larger team. Everyone is prepared to play and is intensely concentrated.
“(Marcel Sabitzer) has already demonstrated his readiness to participate, since he played 15 to 20 minutes and performed admirably, making some excellent tackles and being good with the ball; therefore, everyone is ready to play.”
