Chief Principals are Kenya’s highest paid teachers. The Chief Principal is in Grade D5, according to the Teachers Service Commission’s report. The highest grade of D5 might earn at least 173,422 per year, according to the government’s proposed compensation increase for teachers. a document that has impressed numerous educators nationwide.

According to the suggestion, teachers in the rank of D5 who currently make a base salary of 131,380 will receive at least Kshs 140,577 after a seven percent pay hike. In accordance with a report previously released by the Salaries and Renumeration Commission, Chief Principals who are currently employed as teachers would get a base salary cap of Kshs 173,422.

On the other hand, a P1 teacher in grade B5 will receive pay that is at least Kshs 23,279 rather than the present Kshs 21,756.
