MoE Sets Closing Dates for Schools Term 2
The 2023 comprehensive calendar was created by the Ministry of Education to guide teaching and learning activities in every school.
The term dates are also known as the (2023 term dates).
Term 1, 2023
The 2023 term one started by in January 2023 (23/1/2023).This term lasted for a total of 13 weeks with the closing date slated for April (21/4/2023)
Term 2, 2023
Schools reopened for the second term on 8/5/2023 and it is expected to last for a total of 14 weeks.
Remember that regardless of whether they are public or private, all elementary and secondary schools must follow this academic calendar.
Both private and public schools nationwide took a half-term holiday from June 27 to July 3 as per the ministry calendar.
Then, all of the schools are anticipated to remain open until August 11th.
The 2 week holiday for students will take place from August 12 to August 27, 2023.
