Mason Greenwood ‘engaged in Man Utd transfer exit plan’ as new facts emerge

After charges were dismissed against Mason Greenwood, Manchester United is unsure about signing him.

According to rumors, Manchester United would want to trade Anthony Martial if Mason Greenwood is reintegrated into the team. Following his arrest in January of last year, the England international has had all allegations against him withdrawn. The athlete is now technically eligible to play football again, but the Red Devils have not chosen what to do with him.

Following Greenwood’s arrest last year, it was revealed earlier this week that all charges had been dismissed.

And now, according to The Mirror, United may attempt to trade Martial if they determine Greenwood can be reintegrated into the squad.

Martial’s performance at United has been inconsistent for the most of his career, and injuries have hampered him in recent years.

He was absent on Saturday when Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Old Trafford to extend their outstanding streak.

And because Martial is currently missing more games than he is playing, United have judged him surplus to requirements.
