Marcus Rashford makes an embarrassing error in his farewell message to David De Gea.

While posting a farewell message for comrade David De Gea, Marcus Rashford made a significant error.

The veteran goalkeeper will depart the club after his contract expires at the end of June, it was announced earlier today.

The club initially offered him a new contract with reduced wages, but later withdrew the offer, much to the astonishment of the player.

After 12 years and 545 appearances for the Red Devils, the Spaniard has decided to quit the club.

Several players expressed regret over the departure of their longtime colleague. Bruno Fernandes was the first to comment, criticizing the club for the manner in which he was released. On his Instagram story, he wrote:

“You deserved to say goodbye at the stadium with all the fans cheering you for all the beautiful memories.”

Marcus Rashford also posted a departing message for De Gea on Instagram, but he made an embarrassing typo.

His Instagram post, which has since been modified, originally read, “Caption Ideas: You’re here because of my breakthrough; best wishes with your next stepbrother!”

Rashford has been accused of using ChatGPT to compose his social media posts in the past, and some fans were quick to imply that this proves their accusation.
