Manchester United’s Rising Star Suffers Early Injury Blow Against Arsenal
Amad, a youthful player for Manchester United, sustained an injury within minutes of his preseason debut against Arsenal.
The winger was introduced at halftime with Manchester United leading the Gunners 2-0 thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes.
Ten minutes after entering the game, he went down in agony and limps off the field with an apparent ankle injury.
Amad was then replaced by Facundo Pellistri, who was making his first preseason appearance.
Latest Amad injury
The extent of Amad’s injury is currently unknown. United did not immediately replace him despite initial optimism that he could continue playing.
A few minutes later, the decision was made that the 20-year-old was unable to continue.
Ben Thorley, a MUTV commentator, stated:
“I hope it’s not damaged ligaments but that’s what it’s looking like. Hopefully just bad bruising.”
After the game, Amad was seen exiting the stadium on crutches.

Amad’s major opportunity
Amad’s preseason was a significant opportunity for him to make an impression, so it was unfortunate that he was unable to finish this game against Arsenal.
Depending on the severity of his injury, he hopes to recuperate in time for matches against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund during the tour.
He has featured in two preseason games thus far, starting against Leeds and Lyon.
If Amad is sidelined for a few weeks, he may be unable to depart on loan and remain with the squad for the remainder of the season.
We hope he makes a speedy recovery and is back in action within a few days.
