Manchester United Secure Deal with Serie A Sensation: Personal Terms Agreed
This summer, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants to add a forward to his roster.
The Red Devils have already acquired midfielder Mason Mount from rivals Chelsea, but the Dutchman is seeking to add a new striker to his roster for the upcoming season.
During his first season in command, Ten Hag led United to a third-place finish in the Premier League and a Carabao Cup championship.
United scored fewer goals than any other team in the Premier League’s top six, so Ten Hag is looking to strengthen his front line during the current transfer window.
Now, it appears as though Manchester United has made progress in their pursuit of a Serie A standout.
Rasmus Hojlund, according to Football Insider, has agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.
According to the report, United is advancing on a prospective deal for the 20-year-old, who excelled for the Italian club last season.
Hojlund, 20, scored ten goals in 34 appearances in all competitions for Atalanta last season after joining the club in the summer from Austrian club Sturm Graz.

According to reports, Hojlund has agreed to personal terms with Manchester United.
Allegedly, United have recently received encouraging indications that a deal may be possible, and the player has informed his current club that he intends to move to Old Trafford.
Hojlund is under contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2027, having signed a five-year contract upon joining the club.
United officials view the teenager as a less expensive alternative to other attacking targets, such as Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, who would both cost significantly more than the Dane.
Hojlund, who made his senior debut for Denmark last September, has now scored six goals in as many international contests for his country.
The club has not yet identified a permanent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left in November.
Wout Weghorst did join the club on loan from Burnley in January, but the Dutch international failed to score in the Premier League and has since returned to Turf Moor.
