Despite connections to Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe would prefer a move to Premier League rivals Arsenal, according to the Independent (h/t The Sun).
The France international has been impressed by Mikel Arteta’s contributions to the North London club. If the World Cup champion were to transfer to the English Premier League, Arsenal would be his first choice.
In addition to Manchester United, Liverpool has also been linked to the 24-year-old’s services. Real Madrid appears to be in the lead for the forward, however.

Mbappe is currently in the final 12 months of his current contract. The Frenchman has no plans to extend his tenure with the Parc des Princes club. The Parisians intend to transfer the forward in the summer.
However, he will not be inexpensive. PSG desires approximately $170 million for their talisman. It is understandable, given that he has been one of the world’s greatest players for some time.
Last season, Arsenal and Manchester City were neck-and-neck in the chase for the league championship. However, the Sky Blues ultimately prevailed over the Gunners to win the championship.
Arsenal’s fortunes have been restored by Mikel Arteta.
