Man Utd’s Record-Breaking £65m Deal Secured with Astonishing Written Offer Amidst Liverpool’s £50m Transfer Drama with Chelsea…

The most recent transfer news from the Premier League, as Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and others compete.

This summer, Manchester United is pursuing Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund.

Here are the latest Premier League transfer news and rumors as of Friday, July 28.

Man United conclude £65 million transaction.

After submitting a monstrous written offer, Manchester United have purportedly reached an agreement to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

According to Sky Sports Italia, a formal proposal of £65 million is on the table, with an additional £5 million in add-ons. Luca Cilli, a transfer expert, stated during a live broadcast that an offer is forthcoming for a Danish international youth. After dropping their initial £80 million asking price, the Italian club is anticipated to accept the offer.

The two organizations have spent weeks in negotiations attempting to reach an agreement. It is believed that PSG’s recent interest has sped up the process, with formalities expected to be finalized in the coming days.

Erik ten Hag is rumored to have had multiple video conversations with the player, who will become the club’s third summer signing after Mason Mount and Andre Onana.

Liverpool is at risk from Chelsea

Chelsea is keeping a watch on Liverpool’s potential move for Southampton star Romeo Lavia, with the Blues prepared to swoop in and steal the deal for the Saints’ player.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side had another proposal for Moises Caicedo of Brighton rejected and could now turn to Lavia as their frustrations mount.

Despite the fact that their initial offer was rejected, Liverpool are anticipated to complete a deal for just under £50 million to secure his signature.

Forest rejects a £35 million offer for a Welsh talent

According to the Telegraph, Nottingham Forest have rejected a proposal of approximately £35 million from Brentford for Brennan Johnson.

The summer offer is a club record for the Bees, who are eager to acquire Johnson from Forest.

A £20 million Manchester United agreement is imminent

Manchester United are close to agreeing a £20 million agreement to sell Brazilian midfielder Fred to Galatasaray.

The maligned star is expected to depart Old Trafford imminently, with Fulham and Saudi Arabian clubs also reportedly interested.

Turkish news source Fotomac Fred will be one of three imminently-announced acquisitions, along with Mauro Icardi and Milot Rashica.

Vice-president of Galatasaray Erden Timur reportedly flew to England on Wednesday night for discussions. After an initial offer was denied, the Turkish club is rumored to be closing in on a deal close to the £20 million United desires.

Chelsea and Arsenal confront a threat of hijacking

According to new reports, Manchester United could outbid Chelsea and Arsenal for Ajax midfielder and attacker Mohammed Kudus for $40 million.

Kudus, who has previously compared himself to Brazilian superstar Neymar, has his sights set on a move to the Premier League, with one Dutch football expert asserting he would enter Old Trafford if Erik ten Haag opened the door.

According to reports, United are in negotiations to acquire Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, but Kudus could be a backup option. The 22-year-old Ghanaian international has attracted significant interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Marcel van der Kraan, a football expert from the Netherlands, stated:

“Mohammed Kudus is a really interesting player in terms of midfield and striker – he can play both,” Van der Kraan indicated to Sky Sports News.

“This is why he is on the horizon, on their (Man Utd’s) list. He may not be the number one yet but if any of the players mentioned fail to come and talks break down, Kudus could be an ideal option.

“Quite significantly, who is in a training camp with Ajax in the south of Germany near Munich, has made it clear he wants to leave.

“When a player says that, he usually has something lined up.

“He is very keen on a move to the Premier League, whether that is a top club in London or Manchester.

“As soon as Ten Hag would knock on his door, he would go.”
