Manchester United and Nottingham Forest have agreed on a permanent transfer fee of £15 million for forward Anthony Elanga.
The youthful Swede, who came through the United academy, will undergo a medical this weekend, according to the Telegraph.

“Over the weekend, Elanga will undergo a medical in Nottingham before becoming Steve Cooper’s second summer signing,” John Percy wrote in his report.
The Swedish international is presently touring the United States with the club’s preseason squad.
After his breakthrough season under former interim manager Ralf Rangnick, the 21-year-old did not have the desired influence under Erik ten Hag.
The winger only began seven times for the Dutch manager, registering two assists but no goals.
With Alejandro Garnacho’s impact, the Sweden international has little chance of becoming a mainstay in the United starting XI, and a transfer seemed to be the best option for both parties.
Despite a relatively quiet 2022-23 campaign, the speedy winger’s immense potential attracted clubs such as Everton, West Ham, and Marseille, but Elanga chose to join Cooper’s City Ground initiative.

The fee for a full international flight is substantially higher than what previous reports indicated. At one point, the Reds considered halving Elanga’s price in order to dispose of him.
Forest is still in negotiations with United regarding the transfer of goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Recent reports suggested that the club may be interested in signing Keylor Navas instead of the England international, but The Telegraph reports that negotiations have been positive.
