M-Pesa Services To Be Unavailable As Safaricom Announces Maintenance
The major telecoms provider Safaricom has scheduled system maintenance between the hours of 11 p.m. on May 20 and 4 a.m. on May 21 of the following year, 2023.

The company claimed in a statement made public on Friday that a variety of services, including the PayBill and Buy Goods Lipa Na M-Pesa facilities, will be unavailable for the specified time period.

The Daraja Portal and all M-Pesa APIs, the M-Pesa Organization Portal, Dealer Portal, and the Lipa Na M-Pesa Portal are additional M-Pesa portals.
The M-Pesa App, the Safaricom App, and services for international money transfers (Western Union) and M-Pesa Global will all be discontinued.
Additionally, the maintenance will have an impact on the M-Shwari, KCB M-Pesa, M-Kesho, Hustler Fund, Fuliza New Limit allocation, Pinless Top-up, and loT services.

“All other services, including calls, data, and SMS, as well as all other M-PESA services, will be available as usual,” the statement said.
