TSC Online Services. Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) moved away from paper work to digital services online. Most of if not all TSC services have been moved online and teachers can receive the services from the click of a button.
The teachers can access these services through the commission ‘s website http://www.tsc.go.ke.
The online services offered by the Teachers’Service Commission include;
1. Online Payslips- TSC Online Services
Teachers can now access their monthly Payslips online through the TSC Portal Link. Teachers need to visit the TSC ICT offices to ensure that they are registered and activated be accessing the system.
A teacher needs be in possession of his/her TSC number and the pre-set password.
KUCCPS Update On Application For University Courses
TSC has enlisted a number of online services that are available and necessary for teachers on its website. They include;
Advertised Posts and Status Checking
TSC publishes the available vacancies for teachers where teachers can access them and submit their applications online as opposed to the manual system where teacher spent money to deliver application letters to specific schools.

Registration Of New Teachers
Any teacher who has complete the teaching course from the college is required to be registered as a teacher before he/she commences the teaching exercise in any Kenyan institutions.
This exercise can be done online through the TSC website where the teacher can upload the necessary documents which include;
- Certificate of good conduct
- Degree certificate
- KCSE and KCPE certificates
- GP -69 form ( Duly Filled)
- Official Transcripts
- Copy of ID/passport
- Birth certificate copy

Teachers need to appraise themselves progressively as the term begins to check whether there is an improvement in the service delivery.
This appraisal was moved to the analogue version of paper work and now teacher appraise themselves online through the TSC Portal where teachers can award themselves marks using various defined standards. They are required to submit the appraisals to the Teachers’Service Commission (TSC) where the commission assesses the the progress of teachers in terms of career development.

Teachers are able to access the various circulars that are published by the Commission through its website. The commission periodically uploads these circulars and any new circular pops up whenever one opens the TSC Portal.

TMIS Returns- TSC Online Services
TMIS is an online system for TSC that allows teachers to update their data from time to time
Data that’s needed in this system include;
- School basic information

Online Tax Deduction Card (P)
Teachers are the TSC secretariat staff can now access their P9 forms alongside their payslip that will enable them to file their tax returns. This is possible through the TSC online Portal.
Therefore, teachers can now be able to file their returns as early as January of every year.

The commission can access and manage its human resources using this System.

This system has offered timely response using this technology based service channel by reducing the human interface.
