“Liar, Plotter, Dangerous Man!” Sudi Explodes on Gachagua in Fiery Tirade
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has fired back at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of hypocrisy and abandoning the values he once championed while in office.
In a video released on Monday, Sudi claimed Gachagua masterminded several schemes to tarnish the reputations of prominent leaders, including former President Uhuru Kenyatta and ex-Interior CS Fred Matiang’i.
“My brothers from the Mountain, let me tell you—this man is a habitual liar. If we had let him, he would have done far worse. He wanted to destroy the Kenyatta and Matiang’i families and persecute government officials who opposed him,” Sudi alleged.
Sudi further accused Gachagua of organizing the infamous 2023 invasion of the Kenyatta family’s Northlands farm, where Dorper sheep were stolen.
“Who orchestrated the theft of Uhuru’s sheep? Who sent goons to his son’s gate? It was all your doing, yet now you act innocent. You’re the biggest liar—your actions while in office tell the real story,” he said.
Sudi also accused Gachagua of planning to purge Mount Kenya leaders from government positions by framing them with false charges.
He urged Kenyans to reject Gachagua’s narrative and view him for what he truly represents.
In a chilling accusation, Sudi claimed Gachagua plotted something catastrophic during the opposition-led protests by Raila Odinga’s supporters, a move he said could have destabilized the nation.
“You know what you intended to do during the opposition protests. If we hadn’t stopped you, Kenya would have been destroyed. Stay at home because you’re a dangerous man,” Sudi warned.
Sudi’s remarks were in response to Gachagua’s Sunday claim that President William Ruto scripts inflammatory speeches for his allies to read in public gatherings.
“You’re accusing the President of writing insults, but even blindfolded, Kenyans know you’re the one hurling insults every single day,” Sudi concluded.
