KUCCPS Releases Teachers College Application Results; How to Check
Students who applied to teach at teacher training colleges (TTCs) have now received placement results from the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
The placement agency asked the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates to visit the platform to check their placement in a statement dated Wednesday, 23 August.
The candidates will be given information about their chosen learning centres after logging into the portal, students.kuccps.net.
Students must enter their KCSE index number, application KCSE year, and password to access the portal.
Over 13,000 slots were open for students who took their national exams last year, according to KUCCPS.
The Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) curricula were favoured throughout the placement, which began on July 15.

The applicants had to have a mean grade of C or higher, according to KUCCPS. 95,154 pupils received Cs on their exams from the previous year.
“For the second year, KUCCPS will be in charge of placing trainees in the 32 public teacher training colleges. 13,439 spots will be open for applicants to fill, according to the release.
According to KUCCPS CEO Agnes Wahome, “This opportunity is for qualified KCSE certificate holders, including non-Kenyan citizens who sat the exam in 2022 or earlier until the year 2000.”
How to Check
Using the KCSE Index Number and KCSE Year, access the student portal at students.kuccps.net.
For the password, students should use their KCPE index number or birth certificate number.
The placement will be seen on the dashboard after logging in.
