150 Internship Positions Announced at KPA
The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has unveiled 150 internship opportunities within the organization. KPA has specified that there are 10 openings for container terminal operators and 14 for conventional cargo operators.
In addition, six positions are available in Information Communication Technology, Innovation, and Business Process Re-Engineering. There are also nine vacancies for both Ferry Operators and Ferry Maintainers.
Applicants interested in these opportunities are instructed to submit their applications exclusively through the Kenya Ports Authority career portal at this link: [KPA Career Portal](https://forms.office.com/r/PY22Dy13Hf), as per KPA’s notice. Moreover, seven positions and twelve positions are also up for grabs in Civil Engineering and Marine Engineering, respectively.

Furthermore, KPA has advertised five vacant positions in Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Project Development, and other roles. To be eligible, applicants must be Kenyan citizens under 34 years of age and unemployed graduates from recognized training institutions who have completed a degree/diploma/certificate course and have not gained any work experience related to their field of study since graduation, according to KPA.

The Kenya Ports Authority has stressed that all applications must be submitted no later than November 27, 2023. Established through an Act of Parliament in January 1978 and operating under the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the Authority is a wholly owned state corporation with the mandate to oversee and operate all scheduled seaports and inland waterway ports in Kenya.
