The Kenyan National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced an invitation for all examiners to participate in the 2023 KCPE and KCSE marking exercise. This invitation process will be exclusively conducted online, offering examiners an efficient and convenient means to engage in this vital task.
The online invitation process will have distinct schedules for KCPE and KCSE examiners. KCPE examiners can access the system starting from October 16, 2023, while KCSE examiners will gain access from November 1, 2023. This phased approach has been implemented to ensure a well-organized marking process.
For examiners to take part in marking the national exams, they must visit the KNEC Contracted Professionals Website through the provided link: https://examinersapp.knec.ac.ke. Upon visiting the website, they should log in using their designated username and password. In case of a password reset, they can provide their mobile number, and a new password will be sent to regain access.

Once successfully logged in, examiners should complete their personal information and save it, ensuring that KNEC possesses accurate details for each examiner. A dashboard is provided to examiners for accessing, downloading, printing, and thoroughly reviewing the invitation letters and Marking Instructions, which contain vital information for the marking process.
Examiners are advised to pay close attention to the details within the invitation letter, especially regarding instructions for accepting or rejecting the marking offer. This step is crucial for confirming their participation in the marking exercise.
